Abstract

Building on previous work in which we established that politically conservative Millennials may become more racist when white privilege is salient, (Egan Brad, Spisz, & Tanega 2018), we tested a values affirmation intervention to reduce backlash effects. The affirmation intervention proved promising. We will discuss implications for diversity training exercises.
