Abstract

An online survey of 207 participants showed that that attachment avoidance was associated with prioritizing positive situations that emphasize fun over other features (e.g., trust) with their partners and preference for sensible partner strategies over others (e.g., offering reassurance). Attachment anxiety was associated only with being valued for positive moments.
