Abstract

Although researchers are interested in addressing questions concerning the communicative power of nonverbal behaviour, very little work has been put into the development of a standardized coding methodology. Here, the authors present a methodology that was used in the coding of 11 nonverbal behaviours, often of interest to lie-detection research.
