Abstract

Right Wing Authoritarianism (RWA) is associated with rigidity in attitude change toward real groups. We found that RWA is also associated with lower sensitivity to counter-conditioning for artificial stimuli. We here examine ways to facilitate counter-conditioning effects : increasing the amount of counter-attitudinal information or notifying about the counter-conditioning phase.
