Abstract

Cree Nations Treatment Haven (CNTH) was the first methadone maintenance therapy program to be offered in a First Nations community in Canada. CNTH’s services, developed by the community and through evidence-based approaches demonstrating the importance of culturally appropriate treatment, were longitudinally evaluated from client and staff perspectives.
