Abstract

Sequential data analysis allows collecting data until a predefined criterion is reached. This procedure reduces the number of observations needed to conclude as compared to classical testing with NHST. However, important precautions are needed in order to avoid biases. We present a practical tutorial for safe sequential analyses.
