Abstract

The current study examined bidirectional relations between positive and negative parenting practices and youth’s sleep problems. Further, the current study investigated the influence of parental emotion socialization practices on youth’s sleep. Findings highlight negative and unsupportive parenting practices as important treatment and prevention targets for youth’s sleep problems.
