Abstract

Our objective was to examine the association between autistic traits (AT) and PTSD. Among a sample of 103 Israelis, AT levels were positively associated with PTSD severity. This association was moderated by gender. In addition, those with the highest AT levels reported a unique PTSD symptomatic profile, dominated by hyperarousal.
