Abstract

Three studies (N = 1170), combining correlational and experimental designs, examined the distinction between theories of acceptance of androcracy in political vs. psychological science. Among men, hostile sexism predicted acceptance of androcracy in a political decision about reproductive health funding, while for women the central predictor was decision outcome.
