Abstract

This study has three studies to identify concepts of Chinese vanity, develop the Chinese vanity inventory (CVI), and test reliability and validity. The results indicated that the 40 items of CVI includes four dimensions and showed that the CVI has good internal consistency, and satisfactory criterion-related validity.
