Abstract
We meta-analytically examined organizational correlates of proactivity at work to understand the effect of being proactive on mental health and wellbeing. We found that proactivity was negatively related to burnout, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and negative affect. Proactivity was positively related to mental health, wellbeing, and positive affect.
