Abstract

Researchers have documented activism in the Black Lives Matter movement (BLM); this project examines emotion work. Searches for studies about BLM were conducted on PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES, and Psychology/Behavioral Sciences collection. Negative and positive emotions were mentioned in half of the results. Implications and future research directions are outlined.
