Abstract
Do depression and anxiety differentially impact self-efficacy in various domains of health behavior? We found that, in a sample of 143 HIV-positive men in New York City, depression was associated with lower self-efficacy for reducing substance use, taking HIV medications, and staying engaged in HIV care, while anxiety was not.
