Abstract

Jones and Paulus’ Short Dark Triad Scale (SD3) has better reliability and shows stronger correlations to the Dark Triad traits than shorter scales (2014). Contrary to previous research, the SD3 contains more than one component per trait. We identified the top three items per trait to create a shorter scale.
