Abstract

This study presents an examination of the mediating effects of tonic immobility and somatization on the relationship between trait worry and grief in a sample of 231 bereaved college students. The results demonstrated that tonic immobility and somatization were partial mediators of grief pain, but full mediators of grief dysfunction.
