Abstract

Coping strategies are key predictors of well-being, although there are many concerns about their measurement, including the fallibility of retrospective reports and their inability to capture situational influences. We used a multitrait, multimethod matrix (MTMM) to compare daily and retrospective measures of coping among undergraduate students (N = 260).
