Abstract

Here we investigated the influence of oxytocin on brain function underlying processing social values for ingroup and outgroup. Results showed that oxytocin reduced the difference between self, ingroup, and outgroup during prosocial learning by modulating amygdala activity and its functional connectivity with prefrontal cortex (PFC) and salience network.
