Abstract
Confrontation is a known tactic to discourage prejudice expression, yet little is known about which confrontation messages are most effective. The present research examines whether framing a prejudiced behavior in terms if “ingroup favoritism” discourage prejudice expression as effectively as confrontations characterizing the same behaviors as “outgroup hatred”.
