Abstract

We explored how different social situations affected people with multicultural backgrounds’ sense of identity. We studied the relationship between four situations (Family, Friends, School and Community), two identities (Canadian and Heritage) and seven immigrant generations (G1, G1.25, G1.5, G1.75, G2, G2.5, G3). Public domains remained consistently higher throughout all generations.
