Abstract

We sought to identify factors associated with prosocial action among 180 Black and African American urban-residing adults. Regression analyses revealed that belief in the sacred and subjective religiosity positively predicted perspective-taking, and that belief in the sacred strengthened the relation between subjective religiosity and perspective-taking.
