Profiles of Parental Resilience Predict How Children Cope with School Stress

Abstract
Parents influence the development of children’s coping abilities through socialization and modeling. Using latent class analysis and multiple regression, this study examined whether differences in how parents respond to adversity predict how their children cope with school stress. Directions for future research and practical applications of findings are discussed.
