Abstract

The study examined the lives of Korean American survivors of the Korean War. 17 participants ages 55-84 yo shared their experiences before, during, and after the Korean War. Emergent themes included loss of identity, survival, and intergenerational conflicts. Findings provide greater insight into post-war effects on generations of Asian immigrants.
