Abstract

In the current research we aimed at evaluating how social anxiety interacts with self-compassion and self-esteem. We found a negative correlation between social anxiety, self-compassion and self-esteem and a positive correlation between self-compassion and self-esteem. Self-esteem mediates the effect of self-compassion on social anxiety.
