Abstract

Previous studies on birth order effects showed inconsistent results. We investigated birth order effects on personality and humor by including covariates like the number of siblings and surrogate parenting. MANCOVAS showed no birth order main effects, but interaction effects revealing the moderating role of demographic and other participant effects.
