Abstract

Can real-world creative problem-solving be taught and enhanced through practice? If so, can anyone benefit, regardless of initial creative competence or personality characteristics? A pre-post intervention with 98 undergraduates in a multi-faceted introductory "Creative Design Methods" course demonstrated significant gains on an ecologically-valid design challenge, with 94% showing creativity boosts.
