Scan-Paths of Mind-Wandering during Video Lectures

Abstract
In two video lectures, we obtained scan-paths of mind-wandering (MW) using thought probes. Scan-paths prior to the probes were similar among viewers who reported being on-task, but were more heterogeneous among viewers who reported being MW. Results indicate that eye movements were less constrained by the external task during MW.
