Resisting Social Temptation: Emotion Regulation and Socially Facilitated Risk-Taking in Adolescence

Abstract
Our experimental findings show that adolescents engage in more risk-taking behavior when with peers than alone. However, these results suggest that socially facilitated risk taking is reduced in adolescents who show increased reappraisal ability in positive emotions.
