Abstract

We tested the hypothesis according to which long-term musical training have effects in the perceptual laws underlying vision. To achieve our goal, we compared the sensitivity of musicians and non-musicians for the ‘Solitaire illusion’. Our results suggest that the perceptual laws are partially altered after prolonged musical studies.
