Abstract

Considering the similarities between perceptual-motor and affective feature codes, it is possible to hypothesize the presence of a sensory-motor-affective network in the brain. The current study provided support for this idea. Task irrelevant perceptual information associated with affective stimuli influenced the compatibility effects in a motor visual priming task.
