Sharing Emotions with Same Group Members but Not with Different Group Members: The Effects of Social Context on the Perceptual Threshold of Facial Expressions

Abstract
We investigated the effects of social relationship and affective context on the perceptual threshold of target facial expressions by using a psychophysical method. Results showed that the perceptual threshold of target facial expressions was influenced by emotions of same group members in the context, but not by different group members.
