Abstract

The study examined emotional regulation in children with oppositional behaviors and possible implications of emotional parenting in this regulation. 192 mother-child dyads completed emotional regulation, emotional parenting style, and oppositional behaviors scales. Results showed more emotional dysregulation in children exhibiting opposition, that may be partly due to ineffective emotional parenting.
