Abstract

Understanding others’ actions with objects require to decode both kinematic and functional goal information. Yet the critical involvement of fronto-parietal brain regions in processing and articulating those dimensions is still unclear. This TMS study demonstrates kinematics and functional goal integration in the inferior parietal cortex during recognition of object-directed actions.
