Abstract

By using a Stereotype Misperception Task study and coupled with a multinomial model, we investigated the threat perception of North African and Black individuals, and the underpinned processes involved (i.e., stereotype activation and stereotype application). North African faces were judged as threatening, and even more threatening than Black faces.
