Visual Detection of a Temporal Gap between Markers of Different Spatial Frequencies

Abstract

We investigated how visual detection of a temporal gap is affected by introducing a spatial frequency difference between two markers bounding the gap. The two experiments demonstrated that gap detection thresholds are higher when markers are of different frequencies than when they are of identical frequency.
