The Effects of Priming and Target Valence on Prospective Memory in Anxiety

Abstract

The present study investigated the relationship between priming and target valence by anxiety on prospective memory performance. It was found that people with anxiety performed more poorly on primed neutral target than people with lower state anxiety. No difference between anxiety groups in primed negative target on performance was found.
