Abstract

This study investigated the influence of sexual harassment (SH) disclosures on hiring practices. Participants read one of four vignettes describing either a SH scenario or an academic-misconduct scenario and then made judgments regarding the applicant. Results were encouraging, indicating that SH disclosures did not impact applicant ratings.
