Abstract

The present study investigated the associations between trauma exposure and PTSD in relation to beliefs about guns and violence and aggression utilizing 302 adults. Trauma exposure and PTSD were related to aggression and normalization of violence; but only exposure to armed assaults was associated with more positive gun perceptions.
