Abstract

This research examines when and why shared decision making is hindered. we propose that patients’ moral disengagement harms shared decision making by breaking the doctor-patient positive interaction, the association between the above three variables is moderated by perceived doctors’ power.A time-lagged study of Chinese participants supports the hypothesis.
