The Judgment of Valence of Emotional Images during Approach Behavior Depends on the Delay between Image Onset and the Imperative Go

This study demonstrated that unpleasant images were judged as less unpleasant when following gait initiation towards emotional images. Moreover, the delay between image onset and the imperative go was crucial. The results suggested that the change in judgment of unpleasant images was a result of an emotion regulation.
