Abstract
We predicted that individuals who are successful at important evolutionary tasks, like mating, would have higher levels of happiness, or subjective well-being. Participants completed several measures related to these constructs. We found significant correlations between the mating, dating success, and subjective well-being measures supporting our predictions.
