The Effect of Source on Judgment Change for Health Decisions

People show greater judgment change after receiving information from experts than from online resources or past experience. We characterize participant behavior using a rational model assuming judgment is a linear weighted combination of initial judgments and source information, weighted by expectations for the quality of each piece of information.
