Abstract

We replicated the Ebbinghaus illusion effect on throwing performance which increased when small circles surrounded the targets. It was the case even when the small circles did not influence the perceived target size, casting doubt on the perceptual nature of the Ebbinghaus illusion effect on throwing performance.
