Abstract

Our longitudinal study of shoppers’ attitudes in China reveals that the influences on Chinese consumers’ food consumption attitudes and shopping choices have changed over time. The value of tradition has regained importance in affecting consumers’ attitudes; however, a fast-paced lifestyle has lost its impact, in contradiction with previous research findings.
