Yesterday Seems More Socially Pleasant, after a Good Sleep

Abstract

We found that the well-known link between sociality-happiness tightens with good sleep quality. Those who slept well were more likely to associate social words with happiness in a free-recall task (Study 1), and showed greater accuracy in recalling positive social events of the previous day (Study 2) than others.
