Abstract

The study examined the predictive influence of parenting styles and peer relationship on adolescents' interpersonal competence. Secondary students completed standardized questionnaires on parenting styles, peer relationship, and interpersonal competence. Multiple regression analysis revealed that both parenting styles and peer attachment significantly explained variances in the five domains of interpersonal competence.
