Political Self-Efficacy and Political Cynicism in Online Political Engagement of Young Adults: The Moderating Role of Political Identity

Abstract

Results suggested political cynicism and political identity significantly predicted online political activities, and high political identity moderate the relationship between political cynicism and online political engagement. However, neither political self- efficacy was correlated with political online engagements nor it was significantly predict online political engagement among young Pakistani adults.
