Correlation between Emerging Adults’ Marital Attitudes and Their Attitudes Towards Their Parents

Sons who had positive attitudes towards their mothers had positive attitudes towards marriage and cohabitation. On the other hand, daughters who had positive attitudes towards their fathers tended to have positive marital attitudes. Furthermore, daughters who agreed with the idea of division of labour by gender had positive marital attitudes.
