Cultural Differences and Universality in Perceiving Facial Impressions: A Developmental Study

Abstract

Young children can form impressions from faces but this depends on the kinds of impressions and faces. For example, even two-year-olds could judge which person was trustworthy but not judge which person was competent. There could be cultural differences and universality in perceiving facial impressions.
