Abstract

The current study conducted a visual variant of Deese–Roediger–McDermott paradigm while recording eye movements, we found that longer total fixation duration on theme at encoding increased the false memory, while longer total fixation duration on theme for false recognition trials at retrieval reduced the false memory.
