Abstract

The goal of this study was to explore variables associated with treatment seeking among African Americans and Latinos. Individual interviews were conducted with African American and Latino participants recruited in the United States. Cost, cultural biases, denial and stigma, fear, and shame were some of the barriers discussed by participants.
